Snowfall warning in effect for:

  • Nelson House
  • South Indian Lake and Amisk Prov. Park
  • Split Lake and York Landing
  • Thompson Thicket Portage and Pikwitonei

Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.

A low pressure system moving into central Manitoba will continue to bring heavy snow to northern Manitoba tonight. Snow will taper off from the west to east tonight as the system tracks east. General snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are likely by Sunday morning across the warning area.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
